About:
Denise Mason began her career in design and after many years transitioned to working in Micro Business and Workforce development. After changing career paths, she taught business planning classes and provided counseling for business startups. In addition, she taught Marketing Management classes at both undergraduate and graduate levels while providing Capstone advising for graduate students at Marlboro College in Vermont.
Denise has found a great sense of purpose in her involvement in the community. She is beginning her third term on the Planning Board and serves on multiple other committees in town including Connecting Community Initiative, Capital Improvement Planning Committee and Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness and Library Building Committees.

Favorite Deerfield Spaces:
  • There are so many beautiful spaces in Deerfield it’s difficult to choose a favorite! I enjoy riding my bike around the back roads in Deerfield and neighboring towns. When I’m riding, it reminds me how fortunate I am to live in such a beautiful area!
  • I love the fact that we have so many farms close by and I enjoy walking through the fields that lead to the Deerfield River. It’s fun to go tubing down the river and enjoy the scenery.
